The Lexington Utilities Customer Online Portal now offers PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay digital wallets and in-store retail payments at Dollar General, CVS, and Walgreens. Keep reading to learn how you can use these new ways to pay your bill!

Pay in Cash at Dollar General, CVS, and Walgreens*

• Select $Cash Option under Quick Pay in the Customer Online Portal
• Select your preferred store from the list of options
• Receive a unique barcode via email or text (barcode expires after six hours)
• Bring barcode to your selected location
• Visit any checkout and present your barcode with the amount you wish to pay
• Pay your bill in cash

 * Please note that there is a convenience fee of $2.95 

Pay by Kiosk 

• Inside City Centre (200 N. State Street)
  • Open M-F 9 am - 4 pm
• Outside of City Hall (28 W. Center Street)
  • Accepts payments 24/7

Please note: When using cash to pay at the kiosk, the kiosk does not accept coins and will not give change. Any overage will be credited to your account.

Drive Up Dropbox

Customers can also securely leave payments (with your bill stub - the bottom of your bill - attached) in the box on West 2nd Street (next to the mail dropboxes).

Customers can pay their bill by text message! To sign up:

1. Register or login to your online portal account
2. Add preferred payment method to your wallet
3. Click on Paperless and choose the Pay by Text option
