Keep Lexington Clean is an initiative from our Public Services Department that encourages environmental sustainability and equips residents with events and resources to protect our environment. Keep Lexington Clean includes the Adopt-A-Street Program, Annual Ward Cleanups and more. Let's work together protect today's environment and ensure a better future for the next generation of those who will call Lexington home.

Annual Ward Cleanups

Next Ward Cleanup: Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Registration is not required for this ward cleanup. Please bring closed-toed shoes and appropriate clothing to be outside while its warm. We will provide the rest including gloves, pickers, trash bags and vests!

Where: This ward cleanup will start at the State Employees Credit Union located at 404 Piedmont Dr, Lexington, NC 27295. If you arrive after the ward cleanup has started, you will find our group along White Street. 

Ward 4's Annual Cleanup is hosted by Lexington Stormwater and Councilmember John Burke.
