The Human Resources Department assists all City departments with recruitment and orientation of new employees, manages the compensation and benefit packages for City employees and retirees and ensures City personnel policies comply with federal and state law as well as local ordinances.

The goal of our Human Resources, Risk Management and Well-Being team is to be an ethical strategic change agent partnering with leadership, departments and employees.
