The mission of the Finance Department is to provide fiscally responsible control of the City's financial affairs that typically register in excess of $100 million annually. 

Fiscal Year 2025-26 Annual Budget Document 

The Annual Budget for FY 2025-26 totals $131,161,934 with $89 million or 68% of that figure tied to providing the business enterprise utility services of electric, natural gas, water resources, golf and stormwater.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Report 

The City operates on a July 1st to June 30th fiscal year. After the close of the June 30th fiscal year end and an extensive independent audit process conducted in late summer and early fall, the annual report is finalized and available in November.

National Awards

Recognized nationally for the 33rd consecutive year, the Finance Department has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. This award is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
