Recycling and Waste collection for Friday, April 18 has been moved to Thursday, April 17 due to Good Friday. Only trash and recycling rollouts are collected on holiday weeks.

The Recycling and Waste Collection Department maintains a high standard of guarding public health, cleanliness and environmental protection by managing the timely collection and disposal of recycling, garbage, and yard waste generated by the citizens of Lexington, North Carolina.

The City of Lexington provides special collection services for those who are physically unable to take their rollout to the curb. Please note that all trash must be bagged in the provided rollout.
