The City of Lexington Purchasing Division is located in City Hall. Purchasing Officer Britt Smith is available during business hours to meet with vendors to discuss business and bid opportunities with Lexington. Appointments are not necessary but are appreciated by contacting the Purchasing Officer.
The City of Lexington conforms to the State of NC and local purchasing laws as prescribed by the N.C. General Statutes and the City of Lexington code of ordinances. In addition to purchasing goods and services, the Purchasing Division of the Finance Department also handles construction bids and the sale of surplus property and equipment on GovDeals.com.
