The Human Resources Department assists all City departments with recruitment and orientation of new employees, manages the compensation and benefit packages for City employees and retirees, and ensures City personnel policies comply with federal and state law as well as local ordinances.

The Human Resources staff are key to facilitating and advocating the City's well-being program, known as "Working on Well-Being" or the WOW program.
