Lexington City Council is pleased to move forward in implementing progress toward Top 10 Goal #4 of focusing efforts on improving the City's appearance, keeping the City clean and attractive. The Public Services departments have joined forces to weed overgrown sidewalks, curbs and gutters and clear street drainage basins.
Citizens are encouraged to join the effort by placing debris and waste behind the curbs and not in the streets. When mowing lawns, grass should be blown back into the yards and not in the streets for a cleaner appearance and to prevent debris from clogging storm drains.
