The City's Information Technologies and Electric Departments are working together to improve the City's free outdoor WiFi. The improvements involve replacing old access points throughout Uptown. All of the WiFi on Main Street and most of W. Center St. has been updated. The side streets will be updated the week of May 14th.  

Free City WiFi stretches for more than 12 blocks in Uptown Lexington, spanning from 3rd Street on North Main to 3rd Avenue on South Main; reaches east running along Salisbury Street; and reaches west running along State Street with a slightly broader reach on West Center Street.
