City of Lexington's Proposed 2026-2027 Annual Budget

The City of Lexington’s proposed annual budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 has been submitted to the City Council as of May 21, 2026, in accordance with N.C. General Statutes, Chapter 159. A copy of the proposed annual budget is available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, located at 28 West Center Street. In addition, the proposed annual budget and budget message were added to the City’s website on May 21, 2026.
The public is hereby notified that Lexington City Council will hold a public hearing related to the proposed annual budget on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Centre Council Chambers located at 200 North State Street, Lexington, North Carolina 27292 in room 119.
