The City of Lexington, in partnership with the Piedmont Triad Regional Council, has been working on a Housing Needs Study to assess our community’s current and future housing needs. Now is your chance to share your input before the study concludes!
What is a Housing Needs Study?
This study is a planning tool that helps the community identify priorities for housing – what types are appropriate, where they should be located, and under what conditions. It gathers data on local housing trends and resident feedback to guide decisions about housing policies, programs, and development priorities. With this guidance in place, Lexington can help protect community values as new development is proposed.
